    What an amazing end to such an incredible trip! We have absolutely loved reading your blogs each night; to get a glimpse of the experiences you have had and how you are getting on. Everyone said it is a life changing trip and they weren't wrong! We really can't wait to hear all about it! Safe journey back everyone, we are all very excited to welcome you back at arrivals! A very big thank you to Chris for EVERYTHING and for making this such a memorable experience, thank you to all the staff for giving up their time to make it possible, you are amazing!     It doesn't seem possible that you have been out there for two and a half weeks.
    You must all be so very proud of what you all have achieved and this amazing opportunity and experience, memories which will remain with you forever.
    A huge thank you to Chris and all the volunteers including Mr Lyle, Ms Perks and Millie for all their support.
    Enjoy your last evening there together although I am sure it will be sad in many ways.
    We are so looking forward to seeing you Katie. Lucky and Bruce are too. We enjoyed reading your blog and seeing the pictures especially those of you.

First day coaching in Zimbabwe

 Monday 22nd July 2024  By Bess Turpin  Today was our first full day in Zimbabwe, thankfully we were treated with a much needed lie in, 7.30am !! Breakfast was delicious with a range of food including avocado, eggs, toast, fruit and porridge. All full up, we hoped on the bus to our first morning of community projects which was at an old peoples home where we were greeted by an one hundred and eleven year old lady. We were split into groups which were given various tasks such as painting, brick laying and litter picking. I was tasked with removing plaster off a room wall in prep for it to be painted. We meticulously scraped plaster off the walls until the bare brick was exposed. After this hard work we had lunch and moved straight on to coaching which was hard in the beating sun but was very rewarding. 23rd and 24th July 2024 - Zim Coaching and Community Work

 23rd July 2024 By Olivia Scharinger Today, after we got ready, we had breakfast (which was so yummy) and then a couple of groups went to the old peoples home, whilst the others, including  mine, went to do training. The first group was normal, but for the second, we had load of children so me and a couple of others had to play games with some of them.  It was actually really fun. At the end, we also met a really cute 4 year old boy who gave us all hugs. After training, we all had lunch at the old peoples home, which was nice.  Then some groups left to do training whilst mine and some others stayed.  My group was doing painting, which I thought was really fun and satisfying.  It was really hot though so we went to sit inside for a bit.  When we finished, we all went back to the campsite, had showers and chilled for a bit before going out to dinner. Dinner was the best thing ever!  When we got there, the place was really nice and so was the music....

 Megan Evans Hello everyone! It's Megan Evans here and I'm here to fill you in on what we did today. But first I have to say what an amazing trip we have had so far! From the gorgeous sunsets, seeing lots and lots of giraffes and extremely sugary Fanta's, Zambia is truly incredible! So, this morning we had a cracking lie in with breakfast at 8, which consisted of toast, basked beans, scrambled egg and sausages. Then watched some Olympic in the bar before hopping on the mini bus to Victoria Falls! Before we had even got off the mini buses, we saw a group of baboons - you wouldn't get that in Esher! Then we started our trek into the Zambian jungle down to the falls. It was picturesque scenery the whole way down and when we got to the rocks at the bottom we could see the waterfall in all it's glory.
