Tournament Day Two

Thank you to everyone who helped me get on this trip. It was the best decision ever. To start the day I finally woke up to my alarm (whilst on the trip, first time for everything). As promised I woke Arthur and George up. The decided not to wake up, this meant a few light door kicks were required until I heard faint noises.
For breakfast a lovely selection was present. I decided that I couldn't resist some lovely Weetabix followed by the freshest fruit salad I have ever tried. After this we all crammed into the minibus and Rosa, as one of the minibuses wasn't starting. On the drive over to the second tournament, everyone was tired and quiet. On this tournament I had the biggest job known, I was the time keeper !!! I had learnt from the best (Lyle Lyle the crocodile). In my role I blew an airhorn (loudly) to signal the start and end of matches. This wasn't my only role. I was required that every coach was in order as well as students. One coach became too keen so became angry at the refs. This was unacceptable so he required me telling him off. The tournament was very successful and everyone left with a smile.
At the end of the day, we played a lovely game of touch rugby against the young leaders. We won !! We all then took photos together and a few tears were shed.
Love and miss you Mum, Dad and Mark xx

So far Zambia has been great from coaching the children to an elephant sanctuary followed by being chased around the campsite by a herd of monkeys. Today we got up very very early, 5am to be precise. We got to the pitch and laid out cone after cone after cone. As the tournament progressed it came down to the final two and I got the opportunity to ref one of the finals, so I did.
Dinners have been great. The first night was rice and a curry. Then a Zambian roast dinner, followed by a delicious butter chicken. The butter chicken was delicious. But many peoples bowels weren't able to cope so that Bruce (the toilet) had many visitors.
I saw a few Giraffes and plenty of Zebras and ten too many monkeys. But Eureka had a plan for that by hiring men to catapult small stones at them.
The plane ride out here was interesting to say the least. The flight to Dubai was lovely, very comfy. Yes. I am not looking forward to the long coach ride tomorrow to Zimbabwe. Mind my French but it is going to be rubbish.
When I get home please can I have Gammon, mash and veg please. I love you loads and miss you all, Mummy, Daddy, Doris and Iris

P.S I hope you and uncle Si caught.
